New exhaust tips + active exhaust

Pola got new exhaust tips, and by the way an active exhaust was installed – all from local company Buzzer.

After the engine change, I had an exhaust with a Magnaflow muffler on a single exhaust tip that didn’t match my bumper trim. It’s hard to get a perfect fit from a distance, so I went to a local company that specialises in this.

The Polo WRC Street diffusor has enough room to fit 2 100mm diameter tips, but to make it with a slight margin on each side I finally opted for the smaller 90mm tips. I wanted something black so they wouldn’t be conspicuous, the choices were either lacquered or with a carbon cover. I’ve had bad experiences with the lacquered ones, as well as the chrome ones, so I decided to see how the Carbon Line ones would perform:

BTW I got rid of the old exhaust and a new one came in its place. The mounts were also improved, as the earlier exhaust, was installed very poorly – in other words, like most of the things I’ve had taken care of by an earlier SynekTune workshop…

Now, in the end, it doesn’t look too bad:

And this is more or less how it sounds:
