It might seem strange, but I just bought summer tires for my Polo… in December! I went for Bridgestone Turanza in size 215/40 R17 87W XL. I usually buy summer tires in winter because that’s when you can get them at better prices.
I wanted tires that would be safe above all and perform well both in daily driving and during more dynamic rides.
Choosing Bridgestone Turanza wasn’t random. These tires have great reviews, especially when it comes to wet surface grip.
The money I saved on tires will probably go towards more modifications for my Polo – I already have a few ideas, but I’ll write about those in future posts 😉
For now, the tires will wait quietly in my garage. As soon as it gets warmer, I’ll be changing the wheels.
