For the Polo 6R, this applies exclusively to the 6R BlueGT 1.4 TSI CPTA model.
For the Polo 6C, this applies to models with the 1.0 TSI CHZB/CHZC engine, 1.2 TSI “BlueMotion Technology” CJZC/CJZD, and BlueGT 1.4 TSI CZEA.
Unlike other models with this engine, in the Polo, the battery is standardly located right behind the left headlight, which prevents mounting a larger air duct or even a cone filter directly at the intake.

The intake system is characterized by a significant power increase from 4500 rpm up to the rev limiter and torque increase from 3000 rpm. On RON98 fuel, combined with the stock exhaust and DSG7 remap, it allows for gains of approximately +12HP / +14Nm at 5500 rpm.

RTMG Performance Air Intake System for Polo 6R/6C EA211
An interesting air intake kit from RTMG Performance dedicated to Polo 6R/6C with 1.2 and 1.4 TSI EA211 engines.
The kit consists of a cone filter housed in a carbon fiber enclosure, metal connector, silicone hose, and hose clamps. A particularly important element is the included battery tray for battery repositioning. Its main advantage is the ability to rotate the battery 90 degrees, which significantly increases space for the air duct. This is a considerably less invasive solution compared to the need to relocate the battery to the trunk, which is often required when installing larger intake systems.

Important note: The RTMG kit was designed exclusively for RHD vehicles. For LHD Polos, the brake fluid reservoir and servo are normally located where the silicone hose would be, so without additional modifications, it can only be used by residents of Australia, Japan, and the United Kingdom. For LHD vehicles, a different silicone hose would likely be needed.
