Rear ventilation in the armrest – Polo 6R IND&MY / Skoda Rapid / Vento

The Indian and Malaysian version of the Polo/Vento/Skoda Rapid 2015+ has a rather unusual air-conditioning system. Apart from minor details such as a slightly different folding armrest, the biggest difference is the air ducts, which are routed through the armrest and onto the feet/footrest.

I wanted to do this in my Polo 6R, but the main problem is the lack of availability of parts – you can’t order parts from an Indian VW at the official Volkswagen service. Just buying the plastic air ducts, armrest and the rest of the necessary parts directly from India is also problematic – but maybe someone can do it 😉

I have seen pictures of the rear armrest on both the Indian and Malaysian reviews of the new Vento.
