EA113

EA113 is a family of gasoline engines produced by the Volkswagen Group, primarily known for its 2.0 TFSI/TSI versions used in performance models. A characteristic feature of this design is the chain-driven camshafts and timing belt driven valve train. It's a derivative of the classic EA827 series, differing from it by features including a crossflow cylinder head instead of a counterflow design.
