The Polo WRC has small plates (they were baptized by VW as “rosette”) at the rear screw connection to the longitudinal member underlaid to increase the friction and against cracking noises.

Long side of intermediate plate -1- must be inserted perpendicular to direction of travel. Lugs -arrows- must engage in assembly carrier -2-.
