Small compressor – MBG Line 1866

CNK -
Small compressor – MBG Line 1866

I needed a garage compressor, preferably as small as possible and with convenient setting of the set pressure on the display. Admittedly, I have a smaller car compressor in the boot, but I don’t always want to take it out, and sometimes I need to inflate the wheels not only in the car, but in the bike or wheelbarrows.

I couldn’t find anything blue, but a rather interesting compressor turned out to be the MBG Line 1866 – it can be used from a normal 230V socket, or from a 12V cigarette lighter socket. The cables are detachable, so if I don’t use it with a 12V cigarette lighter, I just detach the cable and there’s nothing unecessary around the compressor 🙂 In addition, it has an easy to read display, a fabric cover (which I don’t use anyway because I hang the compressor on the wall in the garage), torch functions with 3 light modes and several additional tips for pumping balls, mattresses, balloons etc.

The cable for pumping the wheel is quite short, so it can easily be rolled up and stowed in the ‘back’ of the unit. The handy handle is ideal for hanging it up.

You can easily set the pressure you want in the wheels and the compressor pumps until the pressure you set is reached. It works the same way as at petrol stations, except that from now on I don’t have to go to petrol stations specifically to inflate the wheels 🙂

The 230V cable was only 1.6 metres long, but it’s a cable with an ordinary plug (“eight-shape” / euro 2pin – like from an old radio), so I replaced it with a longer 5-metre cable 🙂
