CDL is the engine code for the 2.0 TSI from the EA113 family used by the Volkswagen Group, equipped with a K04 turbocharger. This engine was installed in sports and performance versions of various VAG models, including Volkswagen Golf R/GTI Edition 35, Scirocco R, Audi S3/TTS/A1 quattro, Seat Leon Cupra/Cupra R, and VW Polo 6R WRC Street.

The engine dropped into the Polo. Needed to change the oil filter, as the oil filter base with adapter did not fit the front belt. A shorter oil filter came to the rescue 🙂

06A to 06F oil filter housing conversion
The oil filter from the 2.0 (06A) on a plastic base has been replaced by a normal filter from the 1.8T (06F).
Intake Manifold Runner Flap Delete Kit
Swirl flaps were removed from the intake manifold – I used a ready-made kit from the TafMet store.

1.8T oil pump conversion
