There is no way to clean the old reservoir, so to improve the look of the engine bay a bit, I decided to replace it with a new one. I bought a reservoir from Borsehung – it’s the same as OE, just for half the price; you can even see the molded VW logo.

Fun fact: since Volkswagen used G13 after G12, and then returned to G12 Evo, they currently don’t mark it with a specific fluid name, as if something might change again any moment… 😀
