How to remove glovebox from a Polo 6R
- Switch off ignition.
- Remove dash panel end trim on front passenger side
- Unscrew 3 bolts -arrows- (1.5 Nm).
- Unscrew bolts -1- and -2- in glove compartment (1.5 Nm).
- Unscrew bolts -3- and -4- (1.5 Nm).
- Release glove compartment from dash panel.
- In vehicles with front passenger airbag deactivation, separate connector from key operated switch to deactivate front passenger side airbag -E224-.
- In vehicles with tyre pressure monitor display, separate connector from tyre pressure monitor display button -E492-.
- In vehicles equipped with glove compartment cooling, disconnect air conditioning duct from glove compartment.
- remove or unplug connectors from TPMS and airbag switch
