CTEK MXS 5.0 — safe & ease to use batterry charger (12V/5A)

I bought the CTEK MXS 5.0 rectifier some time ago. I chose it because this model very often wins in the battery chargers ranks (example below).

CTEK MXS 5.0 is a “Swedish product” (as everything: Assembled in China, Designed & Developed in Sweden) . IMO it’s a proven charger, because it’s not without reason that it’s OEM additional equipment on expensive cars. BTW it’s a pity that there is an Audi’s CTEK, but there is no Volkswagen version. Anyway, I’m not going to pay extra for the logo 😃

It’s small, has a lot of accessories, which can be additionally purchased, and most importantly: the same charger was pre-installed in many PREMIUM cars ➡️ some examples at the end of this post.

Recently, I bought a wall mount: CTEK MOUNTING BRACKET (Ctek 40-006), so that the charger will be easily accessible and I will not have to look for it:

The charger is especially useful in the winter, especially for drivers like me — who do quite short distances.
